Which languages are used for teaching WSET courses at the Italian Wine Academy?
All WSET courses at the Italian Wine Academy are taught in English. From time to time, we take special requests for Level 1 and Level 2 courses to be taught in Italian.
Which WSET course levels are provided by the Italian Wine Academy?
IWA provides WSET level 1, 2 and 3 Awards in Wine courses. Level 4 (Diploma) is not yet available in Italy.
How can I enroll in the course?
Registration must be made through our website.
When and where will I receive the training material?
The teaching material will be sent to the students once payment of the enrollment fee has been received.
What is the cost for Italian Wine Academy WSET courses?

What payment methods are available?
Payment can be made by: credit card, bank transfer or Paypal.
Where can I find information about upcoming course dates?
Course dates and times are published on our website and on our social medial channels.
When do the exams take place?
Level 1: on the same day of the course, after the lessons have been completed.
Level 2 and 3: approximately one month after the completion of the course.

How are the exams structured?
Level 1: 30 multiple choice questions
Level 2: 50 multiple choice questions
Level 3: Blind Tasting of two wines + 2 essay questions + 50 multiple choice questions
How will I receive my exam results?
The results of the exams are sent directly from London to the Italian Wine Academy. We will email you your results as soon as we receive them. Successful students can collect their certificate and pin from our office or request them to be posted.
When will I receive the results of my exam?
The London office of WSET Global states that results should be received as follows:
– Level 1 and 2: after 30 working days;
– Level 3: after 40 working days.
Where is the headquarters of the Italian Wine Academy located?
The headquarters are located at the wine2digital offices in Viale del Lavoro 8, in Verona. We also have satellite locations in collaboration with IULM, BBS and Ferrowine.
How do I travel to the Italian Wine Academy?
By CAR, exiting the Verona-south tollbooth and proceeding in the direction of the Fiera.
By TRAIN, arriving at Verona Porta Nuova station.
From Verona Porta Nuova station it is possible to reach our office on foot (about 20 minutes), by bus (lines 21, 22, 61) or by taxi.
