2. Identify the various stages of grape ripening and understand the most common vineyard practices and particulars.
3. Know the main rules for serving and storing wine and the influence that the temperature, position and lighting have on the conservation of the bottle.
4. Know the main rules for pairing wine with food, and understand the interactions and influences they have on each other.
5. Describe a wine using the WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine (SAT), a rigorous and universal method that will allow you to acquire a common language, usable all over the world.
